The Orbit Room is part of a great night out at the Stay Guest Hub, alongside dinner, a show and a cocktail. We want it to stay that way for every guest, so here is how we keep play fun, safe and firmly under your control.

Adults only, every time

The casino floor, the poker room and the learner tables are open to adults only. Our door team checks photo ID for every guest on every visit, however familiar the face, and anyone who cannot show it will be turned away politely.

Play with a plan

The best way to enjoy the tables is to decide in advance how long you will play and how much you are happy to spend, then stick to it. Think of it as the price of an evening's entertainment, like a concert ticket or a round of drinks, and never as a way to pay bills or recover what you have spent. If it helps, our casino desk can put a time or spending limit on your player card that starts immediately.

Take a breather

The pool, the bowling alley and the Satellite Room are all close by, and a break is always a good idea. If you would like a longer pause from the Orbit Room, you can ask to be excluded for a set period or for good. Speak to the casino desk or the front desk in private and we will take care of everything discreetly.

When play stops being fun

It may be time to talk to someone if you notice any of the following in yourself or in someone close to you:

  • Spending more time or money at the tables than you meant to.
  • Going back again and again to recover what has been spent.
  • Borrowing, or dipping into money meant for other things, in order to play.
  • Feeling restless, low or irritable when you are away from the tables.
  • Hiding how often you play from family or friends.

What we promise

No one at the Stay Guest Hub will ever pressure you to keep playing, and nothing we offer as a hotel depends on how much time you spend in the Orbit Room. Staff on the floor are trained to spot the signs of harmful play and to step in kindly when they do.
